Join the Alaska Remote Seller Sales Tax Commission (print checklist here)

• Pass a resolution accepting the Intergovernmental Agreement
• Sample Model Resolution if needed

Step 2:
Provide the following to the Commission

• Signed Resolution
• Copy of your Municipality’s Current Code
• Copy of your Current Sales Tax Form
• Confirmation that your sales tax boundaries match your municipal boundaries

Step 3:
Adopt the Uniform Alaska Remote Seller Sales Tax Code and ARSSTC Supplemental Definitions by way of ordinance or reference

• Provide confirmation of code adoption to the Commission

Step 4:
Register jurisdiction on GovOS site

• Confirm exemption categories.
• Confirm tax rate(s).

Step 5:
Confirm exemption matrix and exemption categories with the TTR tax map team.
